Beckenham Garden, Gym & Pool

The brief was to take a large but underused family garden in Beckenham and turn it into somewhere the whole household would actually spend time. We delivered the full refurbishment as one project: a purpose-built garden gym, a covered BBQ and bar area, a swimming pool with surrounding deck, and a complete re-landscape of the planting, paving and lighting.

The gym is a fully insulated, glazed garden building with a black timber-clad exterior and a light, open interior finished to the same standard as the house. The covered outdoor kitchen sits alongside it, with a stone-faced bar, seating and pendant lighting so it works well into the evening.

Around them we laid composite decking and stone paving, built curved seating walls, planted a layered scheme of perennials, grasses and topiary, and added a sphere water feature as a focal point. The result is a garden that reads as one considered space rather than a collection of additions.
